A stunning sterling silver cross pendant decorated with a dazzling collection of moissanite that have a bright, clean sparkle that could easily be mistaken for that of a diamond.
Moissanites were first discovered in 1893 by French scientist, Henri Moissan who found the rare silicon carbide crystals in a meteorite crater in Arizona. Its strength and exceptional sparkle make it a worthy rival of the diamond but since most are lab-created today it comes at a fraction of the cost and is a popular choice for more eco-conscious buyers.
The stones are a striking combination of round-brilliant and tapered-baguette cuts with the largest weighing approx. 1ct in the centre bringing the total to 8.5 carats. It’s a marvellous piece and sparkles endlessly in the light.
