An Edwardian ring of inverted design comprised of a natural brown zircon in a diamond surround, in 14k and sterling silver. Atw. 0.60 ct. old mine and rose cut diamonds. In original silk and velvet case stamped F.A. Lorie, Moscow. The company existed from 1871-1916 and was located next door to Fabergé. It fulfilled commissions for Fabergé and, in 1912, employees of the Moscow branch of Fabergé transformed F.A. Lorie into a joint-stock partnership.
